I was inspired by the paintings of one of my favourite artists, Emily Carr (1871-1945), to create the needle felted and embroidered scene on the front flap of this bag. This expandable bag is made with a heavy weight beige flannel for the outside and a colourful cotton print for the lining. All embroidery and blanket stitching are done by hand. The bottom part of the bag unzips to add an extra 6 inches (15 cm) when more room is required. Closed dimensions of this bag are 12 inches (30 cm) wide, 10 inches (26 cm) high and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) deep. This bag has one inside zippered pocket measuring 9.5 inches (24 cm) wide by 6 1/2 inches (17 cm) high. The strap is 43 inches (110 cm) long making it easy to carry the bag across your body. SOLD
